Speaking

Speaking

My wife and I attended Fantasia Fair (now TransWeek) for about ten years starting in 2004.  After a few years I starting talking about aspects of transgender I was familiar with.  Those talks, and other possibilities, are listed below.  As I promote and begin to sell my book, I will likely attend TransWeek again, and probably Atlanta Comfort as well.

Sermons & Videos

I presented this sermon during worship on Sunday, February 26, 2023.  I consider the phrasing in the traditional Lord’s Prayer, and speculate on how it might be updated considering how much more we know and can understand of the universe in the twenty-first century.  In repeated fits of inspiration, I kept going off script, and the sermon lasted nearly 40 minutes.  That wasn’t my original intention, but my enthusiasm ran away with me.

I presented the following sermon on September 17, 2023. I wrote a song entitled God So Loved Me, and I sing verses of the song as I develop the themes around God’s love.

Classes & Workshops

ABCs of effective Presentation

Audience: Serious crossdressers and transsexuals, primarily male-to-female with remarks for female-to-male

Duration: 1-1/2 to 2 hours

Description: Effectively presenting as a member of the opposite sex has three main components: Appearance, Behavior, and Consciousness. Appearance includes body shape, clothing, hair, skin, makeup, posture. Behavior includes movement, activities, speech. Consciousness includes our beliefs and attitudes about ourselves, our awareness of the attitudes and behaviors we inherit from our birth gender, and our thoughts and feelings about the gender we feel we need to express. This workshop will help you think about how you can change all three of these components to improve your presentation.

Loving your TS body

Audience: Crossdressing, transgendered, and transsexual male-to-female persons

Duration: 1-1/2 to 2 hours

Description: An MtF transsexual doesn’t need to improve her strength. Instead, she works on flexibility, fluidity, and grace. This workshop looks at the differences in structure between born-male bodies and born-female bodies, and considers various techniques to blur the differences. Skin – not makeup – is considered as well, in addition to voice, facial expressions, and handwriting. In short, in this workshop you will learn more about enhancing the way your body interprets your transgendered nature.

Being a Life Partner to Your Spouse

Audience: Heterosexual or bisexual MtF transgendered; not a couples workshop

Duration: 1-1/2 to 2 hours

Description: Do you respect what you claim you are or want to become? This workshop will help you understand your own feelings toward yourself and your body. This process includes discussions of the range of supportive behaviors on your part, as well as on your wife’s part. What can you do to put your wife more at ease with the situation? Could you become more loving as well as more feminine?
